Natures Hope Rescue is looking for loving foster homes to help care for animals in need. From tiny neonates to senior pets, reptiles to rabbits — they all deserve a chance, and you can be the one to give it.

We need fosters for:

  • Neonatal puppies & kittens
  • Adult cats & dogs (small & large)
  • Reptiles & exotics
  • Small animals like hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs, and birds

You’ll receive:

  • All medical care and vet coverage
  • Food, supplies, crates, and more
  • 24/7 support for questions or emergencies
  • Guidance from experienced team members

Trap-Neuter-Release Program

Our TNR program is a humane, effective approach to managing and stabilizing feral and stray cat populations. Here’s why we encourage it:

Population Control

TNR prevents uncontrolled breeding by sterilizing cats, reducing the number of kittens born into the streets and preventing overpopulation.

Improved Health & Welfare

Spayed and neutered cats are less likely to suffer from reproductive diseases and injuries from mating-related fights. Vaccinations given during TNR also help prevent the spread of diseases like rabies and feline leukemia.

Reduces Nuisance Behaviors

Sterilized cats are less likely to engage in behaviors such as yowling, spraying, and territorial fighting, making them better neighbors in urban and suburban environments.

More Effective than Trap-and-Remove

Removing feral cats entirely creates a “vacuum effect,” where new, unsterilized cats move into the area and start breeding. TNR maintains a stable, non-breeding colony that prevents new cats from taking over.

Protects Local Wildlife

While feral cats do hunt, a stable, well-managed colony with regular feeding reduces their impact on local wildlife.

Cost-Effective & Humane

TNR is more affordable and ethical than euthanasia programs, which are costly and often ineffective in the long run. Many communities have seen significant reductions in shelter intake and euthanasia rates due to TNR programs.
